Happy 2nd Anniversary!!!

Yesterday was our second wedding anniversary. It is so hard to believe that we have already been married that long...He is my best friend and I am so greatful to spend my life with him. Thank you for a wonderful 2 years baby and I look forward to many more to come!!!

Happy Birthday!

Ralph and my Birthday is on the same day which was Tuesday 3-24. We didn't really do much because his parents are taking us out this weekend so we just went and grabbed a little bite to eat and came home. Here are some pics of us on our bday being silly. I love him so much!!!

Anderson has been doing this for months now, I just never got any pictures or videos of it, so yesterday he was really into showing me where it was so I decided id take pictures and a video this time. He can say belly button too, it's a mouth full for him but he can say it really well. He is so smart, but such a ham!

Anderson loves bath time, but isn't too wild about being wrapped up in his towel. Daddy had him wrapped up good tonight, he was fussing at his daddy in the picture lol... he's alright for a little bit, but then he wants to get loose.

This is for the birds...

Having my tonsils out wasn't that big of a deal until around 4 yesterday morning when my body decided it needed to get sick!!! I have never been so sick in my life, no joke. I haven't had anything to eat in over a day, and barely anything to drink. I got so sick I was throwing up blood which was not a good sign, but the dr said I would be ok as long as I could drink. Also they gave me an antibiotic and I was allergic to it, I was itching all over!! I am finally feeling a little better, I am just extremely weak due to having nothing in me for so long. I am slowly getting off my pain meds(I hate taking pills) So I am just taking liquid advil which is just a childrens medicine I just have to take a double dose. Hopefully I will start feeling better, I think id be even better if my head didn't feel like it was going to float away, it feels so strange! On a good note though I have lost 10 lbs in just these few days YAY haha!! I am on my way back to where I was before I had anderson!!! Anyway just wanted to give an update, hopefully all will be better, I am ready to be able ot get some stuff in my tummy because mine and ralphs bday parties are this weekend and I want to eat, cause my Grandmama is cooking!!!

Sitting with Mommy

Anderson is so confused because I can't get down in the floor and play with him and I am not able to lift him because of my surgery. This morning he climbed up in my lap and just sat there for a long time, I guess he knows something is wrong with mommy. Him just sitting with me this morning made me feel so good. I love moments like those! He is such a sweet boy and lights up even my gloomiest days. I love him so much!!! Needless to say I look horrible in this picture, but I wanted a picture of us together. He was watching tv at the moment so that's why he wasn't looking at the picture.

Reading with Daddy

Anderson and his Daddy were sitting in the chair this morning reading an Elmo book. He loves to read books and flip through the pages and look at all the pictures. They were so sweet sitting together this morning that I wanted to take a picture of them. The only camera I had was on my cell phone so the picture is really crappy, but atleast I was able to get a picture of them. Those are special memories to me!!!

Tonsillectomy...

Well I had my tonsils out this morning. Everything went great, but im definitely sore now. I had to be there before eight this morning to get all my paper work done and everything else they needed to do. They finally got me back to a room around 9 and got me prepped for surgery, started my iv and everything. Finally about 10 mins till 11 they came and got me for surgery...I was done by 11:15 and took into recovery for about 45 minutes. I wasn't hurting too bad, but wanted something to drink, so they gave me some sprite which burns going down! They took me into a room around 12 and let me see my family. They gave me some more sprite and some popsicles which were too sweet and made me start feeling sick, but thankfully they gave me some meds to help with that. I was so sleepy from the anethesia so I slept the whole way home and slept until about 8:00 tonight. I feel alot better now that I've slept all day, but it still hurts to swallow. Hopefully I will feel a little better tomorrow and so on. Nothing sounds good to eat, so im just pushing liquids to keep myself hydrated. Just say a little prayer that they heal well and I don't have to go back for anything but a checkup. I definitely is a big adjustment not being able to talk haha!

My Dog died :-(

My dog passed away thursday night. She would have been thirteen in july. My mom called me as we were getting gas in the truck over by mcadory after eating dinner. She said she couldn't stand up and her breathing was really hard. We flew to her house which took almost 20 minutes because we got behind about every slow person there was. By the time I got there and got upstairs she was already gone. Mom said she looked up at her when she got home and her eyes were really glazed then her legs just went out from under her. She grabbed a towel and managed to get her to lay down on the towel in the kitchen floor and she sat there with her and loved on her and prayed that God would take her and not let her suffer. She told her it was alright to go that she'd be ok and she didn't want her to suffer and so she took one last breath and she was gone. I have never cried so much in my life. The only reason I left her at my moms was because she got so close to my mom after her dog died a few years ago, and also got close to her while I was gone so much in highschool. I will miss her so much! My mom bought her for me when I was eight because I was having such a hard time with my parents divorce. She took all the pain away adn followed my every move. She also helped my mom when I moved out when I got married, she helped keep her company. She was such a good dog, so much life and love! She will be missed greatly, but is much better off! I love you Miranda!!

Excited

I thought I failed my math test thursday morning because this has been the hardest one so far and when I was working them out they came out, but they didn't look right to me. My teacher coulnd't grade them in class because there was so much on this test so when I was done with mine and turned it in I asked her if I could call her that afternoon and get my grade because this coming week is spring break and I knew it would drive me crazy to have to wait a week to get my grade. I called her and told her who I was and she said hang on i just put them up, I said alright and then told her I knew I did bad on this one because it was such a hard test to me, but I would rather go ahead and know. She said it was a hard test then said well you made an 87. I was like your kidding and she nope you actually did a whole lot better than you thought! Have a good spring break!!! I felt great!

He makes the funniest faces sometimes, the second one was a partial smile haha he's too funny!!! My mom bought this shirt for him, and another one that says my dad is my hero, they're too cute, and look so precious on him!

Lab Test

So last week I had to take a lab test in Anatomy and Phisiology, and needless to say I thought I failed it. The teacher made us all think we failed it because when we went to class last wednesday he said they weren't graded because they were so bad. Yesterday he was telling us that the other class did pretty well, but when we asked about ours he gave a pretty sour look. He let us come up one at a time to have ours graded by him during our lab(when we were done studying bones). I was so scared because the highest grade I had heard so far was a 78. So I was one of the last people to get up there and to my surprise I somehow only missed like 6 or 7 and I got my bonus right. I was thinking it would be a seventy something, but he added it up and said you made an 88 and I think I fainted right there in the lab! I am so thankful that I did good on these last few tests and I pray that God continues to help me through them!

Anderson loves to stand up in the drivers seat of his daddy's patrol truck and "drive". I decided to get some pictures from the outside this time instead of from the inside like I did with him "driving" in our explorer. He had such a ball!!

This is the best picture I could get because he was ready to leave and didn't want to look at the camera. The reason I took the picture was for his tshirt that his mawmaw and papa got him on their trip when he was like 6 months old, and they got the smallest shirt they could get and it just now fits him. I love it on him though it is just too cute!!!

I found out what I made on my 2nd anatomy test...I was so scared to get my grade back, but I made an 80!!!! Im just worried about the next test we have to know all 200 hundred bones in the body, where they are located and what they look like when he lays the bones out on a table.. without them being conected like they're in the body. Study Study Study!!!

Snow March 1, 2009

We had so much fun playing in the snow today. This is Andersons second snow, but last yr he was only 2-3 months old so he didn't know anything. We went outside twice today to play in the snow, but the first time weren't able to stay out long because the wind was blowing so hard, it was just too cold for Anderson. So we went back out when the sun came out and took more pictures, made snowballs, and a snowman. After Anderson finally got the hang of walking in the snow he had a blast. Too bad it doesn't snow here more often!

Powdered Doughnut!

It's blurry, but I thought he was too cute... he enjoyed them doughnuts so much and it was obvious due to the mouth full and all the white powder around his mouth!

The Bass Pro Shop

I found the pic from the night we took Anderson to get his picture made with Santa at the Bass Pro Shop... I guess I looked over it when I was adding pictures that night so i figured id add it...Anderson loved looking at all the animals and things inside, but he didn't like being close to them... even in his daddy's arms.
